2nd Draft House for the City & MKR solely retained for roll out

The Draft House, the craft beer pub group founded and run by Charlie McVeigh and chaired by Luke Johnson has completed on it’s 9th site. The site which will be The Draft House’s biggest to date is 6,700 sq ft and sits prominently on the corner of pedestrianised Plough Place and Fetter Lane, opposite Bird and Bird’s new 147,000 sq ft HQ. The Draft House are on site carrying out a full re-fit and hope to be open in April.

MKR Property who acted on behalf of The Draft House have been solely retained and tasked with securing four sites in 2016 (two of which are already exchanged), five in 2017 and six in 2018. Marc Rogers, Managing Director at MKR commented ‘I am very excited to be working with Charlie and such a fantastic and well established brand. The Draft House is an incredibly dynamic concept which works in various environments be it affluent neighbourhoods such as Northcote Road, high footfall and highly competitive West End location such as Goodge Street and so on. The Draft House also boasts two formats: Wet led A4 sites of at least 1,000 sq ft in prime high footfall locations and a larger A3 format with a fantastic food offering requiring in excess of 2,500 sq ft.'

The Draft House are looking for sites in Canary Wharf, The City (Bishopsgate, Cannon Street, Fenchurch Street etc), Central London (Euston, Green Park, South Ken, Victoria) as well as in orbital London (Chelmsford, Crawley, Croydon, Reading, Swindon, Windsor, Woking)
